A good story with a fast pace and decent twist.
The characters were well written and the plot was immersive and had me on the edge of my seat. The normalised setting with apparently normal people made for a dark novel but one I was happy reading!

A funny and realistic view into the ups and downs of friends and frenemies!
I really liked this book and sympathised with the main character, we’ve all been through some of the friendship challenges told in this book and come out the other side better for it.
Well written and evenly paced, this is a cosy novel that is easily finished

Absolutely loved this book!
Was as good as any King or Koontz novel I’ve read.
Well written with likeable characters and a really original storyline, kept me on the edge of my seat throughout and dying to know how it would end.
A normal everyday setting created an eerie backdrop to some unusual and gruesome murders right out of a horror story. Literally.
Will read more by this author.

A good solid detective thriller with a nice fast pace and side story to get to know the characters more.
The premise about a serial killer kept me guessing and The setting was so normal it was like reading from a newspaper.
Characters were well written and the style of writing was captivating but oh my god I hated the end!!! No spoilers here though.

A decent enough detective thriller beginning with two teens getting caught breaking into a house, what happens after is a fast paced adventure focusing on Ben Packards ability to find the teens and what happened to them. There are no big surprises here but it’s a solid read that didn’t bore me, the characters are quite well written and the every day setting suits the story well.

It took me a few chapters to get into this book but once I did, I settled in for the duration.
This was a suspenseful thriller that kept me guessing and I genuinely felt for Rose and what she had ultimately been through.
The cabin setting was both depressing and freeing which coincidentally matched Roses life.
The characters were well written and the feeling of entrapment never let up, culminating in a satisfying ending.
Well worth a read!

Absolutely loved this book, such an atmospheric, creepy yet beautiful setting for an equally eerie story.
I truly felt for Hannah and her unusual fear, stuck in such a pretty but ghostly place especially towards the end - there were some good twists too, keeping me hooked until the fireworks finale!

This is a chilling thriller that describes how the world can ultimately effect someone with a fragile state of mind.
A bit of a slow burner but Fast enough to hold my interest.
Esther was a well thought out character who lived a lie inside a ‘Safe House’, her mother and the other characters were nicely described and added the thrill to this thriller!
The setting was claustrophobic but realistic, and a nice little twist towards the end finished it well form me.

I really enjoyed this novel about a group of women who go on a hen weekend but all are hiding a secret which fits perfectly together at the end. The fictional Greek a island setting was luxurious aswell as having a slightly eerie side to it and all the characters where well written and intriguing, each with their own backstory. A great summer read that keeps you guessing.

This one is my favourite so far. Each book I read from Keri Beevis seems to get better and better and this one is no exception.
Following a group of old friends, together for a birthday reunion, we get a bit of romance, a bit of death and a fair bit of backstabbing.
The characters store relatable and entertaining, some are very likeable and the setting is beautiful yet eerie, reminiscent of every Apocalypse Now type plot and the reading pace is perfect, not too fast and definitely not too slow…
Great ending!
Can’t wait for the next one!

Loved this book, full of unexpected twists and turns, I couldn’t put it down.
A couple meet another couple on a plane to a holiday destination and they befriend them - what follows is a dark, twisty story involving murder, kidnap, suspicion and anticipation!
The characters were well written, sobs likeable and done not and the plot, though a little slow to begin with soon sped up the pace brilliantly.
The setting of the story worked well with the co trust of what was about to happen whilst the storyline itself was immersive and never stopped giving.

Took a few chapters to take off did this story but by the end I needed to know what ultimately happened to everyone.
The characters were very well described and true to life while the plot was more of a slow burn but interesting all the same.
I couldn’t believe how things panned out, even if not quite expected!

Took me a while to get into this book but once I did the pages flew by! In the vein of Stephen Kings Misery, it follows a soldier who gets himself into a situation he cannot control. Eilidh was written perfectly, her character unlikeable. The other characters were also well written and descriptive but never fully likeable which was a bit of a let down. I liked the story but hated the ending which is why I only gave three stars, I will definitely check out more stories from this author though.

Absolutely loved this novel. A spooky, well written adventure with the eeriest setting, it really did unnerve me. The characters were all interesting in their own right, I would’ve loved to have known more about them and about what would happen to them after the story ended. I wanted more!
