Promised Land Lane by Marcus Brown

This is Marcus Brown's first novel but you can't tell at all.
It's a creepy, flowing and at times, humorous book that I couldn't put down and read in about two days.
Poor Maisie Whitmore had a short, hard life when she was alive and in death, she became twisted beyond recognition.
Sandra, the main character is great though, full of life, opinions and humour and attempts to tackle the spate of murders down Promised Land Lane with vigour.
The ending is satisfying and hopefully there will be a sequel.
If you like (or dislike) unsettling dolls and great stories, then keep an eye out for this.
