Promised Land Lane by Marcus Brown

Now for anyone into horror stories, this is definitely worth a read, the front cover itself is creepy enough!
I actually befriended Marcus on Facebook and what a guy! He is pleasant and funny and it's great keeping up to date on when his next novel will be out, which I will definitely be reading!
There's also some great memorabilia on his website, with Maisie's creepy doll face all over it...

Cannot believe this is Marcus Brown's first book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it.
Promised Land Lane is unsettling, creepy, compelling and even humorous in parts, the story flows easily and is smooth and well written with good, likeable characters and a few twists.

Sandra and Hils are a hoot!

If you like a bit of horror, or creepy dolls, then this is the book for you.
